CPR Interactive needed a hype video for their client Boomi to show off their AI-driven platform for Netsuite.
Process
Storyboarding
Boomi had a recently revamped identity they wanted to show off including glossy bubbles and layered transitions which provided a great challenge. The floating 3D panel look was also incorporated throughout to showcase the UI and flows of Boomi’s platform.
To start this project I was given a script and some brand guides (pretty standard) which I used to start the storyboard process. Generally I like to start with rough storyboards on paper to get an idea of major scene movements, rough framing of key elements, etc. and then move into the design phase for styleframes. Depending on the complexity I might do a rough animatic to get an idea of pacing.
