Boomi for SAP

The first of the CPR Interactive videos for Boomi. This project served as an introduction of Boomi to the world connecting “everyone to everything, anywhere with our cloud-native, unified, open, and intelligent platform.”
Process
The style of this video utilized a few different tools/techniques to bring the 3D components to life. All the particles flying by were done with Trapcode Particular. In order to get the extruded geometry of the windows along with the camera depth of field I used some expressions to tie the transform properties of the extrusion comp to the main window comp so that both would move together in unison while only having to worry about one set of keyframes.
The app-web in the beginning was done utilizing the Create Nulls from Paths script (specifically the “Extended” version which gives bezier handle controls). A trim path on the strokes with some rounded corners and wiggle expressions on those path nulls made for a very organic web to attach each app icon to.
