A wonderful collaboration with the amazingly talented Kira Reed. Kira created all the illustrations and I got them moving in order to show how Essilor can “give independent eye care providers a competitive edge against the big guys.” Grey Midwest provided a script and excellent storyboards which set us up to hit the ground running.
Process
This project had a little bit of everything in it. Character & UI animation, 3D camera moves, and a custom logo animation for the final polish. I bring the designs over from Illustrator to AE using Battle Axe’s Overlord plugin and then rig them up there.
