Fellow Cincinnati motion designer Greg D’Amico reached out for some character animation on a few videos that were included in a classroom presentation on bullying in schools. The pieces showcase a few different interactions between students and how words can inflame or resolve a situation.
Process
The illustrations were done by the amazing Andrea Pereira, Greg did the intro/outro animations and I was responsible for the character/background animations.
Andrea did a great job prepping these characters for animation which made it easy for me to rig them up using Joysticks N Sliders. Each character was a little different and needed specific capabilities based on the actions or poses they were in which made for a nice challenge.
